well that was the most frantic return i've ever done. in the end it was just - put in whatever numbers make turbotax not barf. accuracy isn't important, right?

I read a somewhat interesting piece on how the tax company lobbyists and the anti-tax zealots have worked to make sure states and the feds don't make filing significantly easier by automating almost all of it.
