IMHO SkyDog isn't "quick to ban or show [his] strength of authority..." There are several other boards that I go to where if a thread wanders slightly off topic it gets shut down. If a thread is started and a similair one is already open it gets shut down. And if anyone questions a what a mod does, he gets banned.

Nazi mods suck. And SD certainly isn't one of them...

Agreed in that sense. That was a joke at .400 where they were closing/deleting threads. That is ridiculous. I guess I would just not ban people over petty things, but take that for what it is worth. Again, that is not a jab at SkyDog, but just the way I feel about how I would handle a situation.

What JeeberD sayd about nazi Mods is kind of like the Hattrick conferences, where it is absolutely not permitted to discuss a mod's decision, or else you run the risk of seeing your team being locked... Can't say it's like that around here...

There is no big fuss. I asked a question, got an answer, then everyone reacts and says why is Shorty making it a big deal? If ya'd read my first post, there was nothing inticing about it all, JUST WONDERING.

I read the thread and while I like vulcan a lot, his alt was a little over the top IMO. It wasn't just about posting 40 times a day, it was what those posts contained. I think SkyDog did exactly what he should have done. Doing nothing would have been weak IMO and banning vulcan permanently would have been a little too much.
