Um...should I be hacked about this?

LINK

Is the last sentence of Farrah's first post in the thread a swipe at FOFC?

I don't think so. It might be though, but probably not.

Edited for typo.

Tough to say, so don't get too worked up about it.

That's not really how I took it, but I don't really know how that community feels about FOFC...

Nah, she's probably referring to the TBCB forums, which have had their share of bickering among members for the past couple of weeks. Hell, I was even challenged to a fistfight at one point. Fun stuff.

Hmm So you host the only other message board?

I don't think it was meant that way. I mean I certainly don't consider FOFC in to be awash in personal insults and attacks.

Yes I am Arlie's wife. No I am not a he, and no I wasn't referring to these boards. Could have asked me directly. I don't bite...hard.

Didn't want to get into a fight on your board if the answer was in the positive.

I don't either, but I've had other indications in the past that some at .400 do.

I was speaking in generalities. But I can start a fight here if you'd like. With Arlie so busy, haven't had an opportunity to yell in a while and I so dearly miss yelling and spitting and throwing things.

I TOLD both he and Joe to starting spending more time with wives now that they don't have to work 18-hour days!

I wouldn't say dirty mind. I'm just speaking from my own experience of when my wife tells me to "leave her alone."

I came by to get you, but your wife said you were in the basement with your stuff, and frankly it scares me.

So I went to silver diner and got a bowl of rice pudding instead.

Just a question -- I know plenty of other programmers drop by FOFC and I'm sure the other boards as well, so it is't always a surprise when when someone from .400, Markus, Mark Vaughn, Brian at FBB, Frank and Nancy, etc. stop by here and post or answer questions.

However, .400 is faster than anyone to respond to anything on FOFC about the company. Here we have the CFO of .400, who apparently has never posted here before dropping by after her name was mentioned.

So my question is this -- is someone from .400 monitoring this board regularly to respond? Or does someone from .400 come over here after getting an e-mail from someone else that they need to stop by here and respond? No big deal -- I'm just curious.

Don't forget that before Arles was Arles of .400, he was Arles the FOFCer. He could be reading the board just like any other of us and have seen the post. Also, .400 and FOFC have more than a few common readers so it's not conceivable that someone who was on friendly terms with the Rahns could've let them know so that they could come over to clear up any possible misunderstanding.

I have been reading these boards for months and had been pretty content to just read. You guys are great entertainment!

But today, this was something about me, and I wanted to respond, instead of allowing something to get out of control.

This thread is a pretty good example of why most of the female vistitors to this board visit as part of their job or as a psychological experiment. This place is the male locker room of Freud's nightmares.

Thanks for responding, Farrah. Like I said, I'm always impressed that whenever a .400 topic pops up, someone like yourself, Joe, Arlie, Scott, etc. pops in. I didn't know if all of you visited that frequently or if you got e-mails from the some of "fanboys" or "fangirls," as the case may be, whenever something like this came up.
