FOF42K --- interface worry for Jim

Jim, I saw that the list of improvements included interface things, but it looked only like colours. Did you, or could you, include dialog box location memory? You know what I mean, on closing the app, keep track of the last known location of each dialog box so that, upon loading, everything knows where it was.

I just read Buccs post, and it was that post that made me think of this because each time I load the app, I spend a few minutes spreading out that GIANT dialog box so I can see that giant list. Then, I need to move the records over, the standings etc. etc.

That has to be done every time and seems like a waste, especially since it is easy enough to fix.

It the game is anything like the previous incarnations of FOF, you could use the Resource Hacker over at the FOF Historical Project to modify the startup positions of the boxes. Heck, I used that thing to change the background image, the dialog boxes, and redesigned the depth chart screens

Understood VPI97, but it is so easy to add into the game that I shouldn't have to HACK it at all.

Somewhere, Jim commented yesterday or the day before that this has been added. Search for his posts. I KNOW I saw it somewhere, I just am too lazy to search for you ;- )

i thought i saw it too (which i alluded to in another post) but looking through his list of features, I only saw the mention of colour.

this post was just to clarify and plead for addition if it is not in there.
