It was probably because of that stupid ass Walk Like An Egyptian song. Hard to seem sexy when you're singing a glorified nursery rhyme.
Man the 80s had some sucktacular music.

Well in case you did not know that wasn't their song. It was something forced on them by their producer. The song was originally written for Toni Basil who turned it down. It was just going to be a throwaway song given to their drummer to sing. Then their producer got a bright idea to have them all sing and made them actually AUDITION for the song. In the end it was rather a cruel thing to do as the song intended for Debbi PEterson ended up being sung by only the other three and not her. This whole mess caused a lot of friction. It also was the beginning of the press zeroing in on Susanna as the lead and ignoring everyone else. And as usual it caused more fights and tensions which ended up splitting them up. So yes, they would agree with you on hating the song. But as for its taking away their hotness, PFFFFF! Regarding Debbi, the blond, this video is WHY I think she's so hot. Love the funky black onsey she wears. Her figure is smokin! And Susanna, love how she makes loves to her guitar at 2:55. (guitars make hot chicks even more hot) |

It's definitely the eyes that do it. That way she's always looking off to the side ... the eyes, smile and the voice. That little raspy thing she does is hot.
