Donlon Among Greats in FOOLX HOF
Thursday, November 14th, 2058: The FOOL-X Hall of Fame just added a fine right fielder and hitter to its number. The newest member of baseball's most elite group is Dale Donlon.

"I always knew I was good enough to play, but the Hall of Fame was one of the few things I never even dreamed of," said Donlon at his induction ceremony. "For me to focus a lot on the individual, that's not the way I learned to play the game. Baseball is a team game. You win as a team, you lose as team. You also do so many things together, but it is not an 'I' thing."

During his illustrious career, Donlon had 505 home runs among his 2875 hits, while batting .316. He played in 2438 games, scored 1704 runs and knocked in 1982 runs.

Arturo Caro Joins the Hall of Fame
Thursday, November 14th, 2058: Arturo Caro's dream finally came true today, as the talented and gifted first baseman was inducted into the FOOL-X Hall of Fame.

"I really don't know what to say," he said to the large crowd attending his ceremony. "It's such an incredible honor. I always dreamed that this day would come, but now that it's finally here... Someone pinch me, so I know I'm not dreaming!"

Over the course of his 2422-game career, Caro was a .301 hitter with 2813 hits, including 521 home runs. He drove in 1647 runs and also scored 1742 times as well.

Pretty weak draft pool this year.
I had 2 first round picks this year and got nothing significant to show for them.
I am really kicking myself now for not ante-up with Vidal. He asked me for $8.5, and I nickle and dimed him and offered $8...which he refused. I figured the compensation picks would ease the sting a bit, but all it got me was a B grade MR.

And a big shout out to Alan for winning the "Bad timing" award in his announcement that Vidal is the first active player to be nominated as an all-time great in our centrury thread. Salt...meet wound.

Yep, I realize fully with the fast pace that my being flexible is important to help keep the seasons moving fully. Feel free to be very descriptive in your explanation if you want on who goes where. I try to draw the line at minor leagues though, I used to have people who wanted me to position 15-20 different minor leaguers in various places. So I don't mind hitting AI suggest for minor league lineups/rotations, but I'll do whatever you need (within reason) at the major league level. Just drop me a note!
