Interesting Windows Issue
I have been dealing with some malware/virus issues over the last few days, and I think I got them mostly under control, except for one nasty little thing that I cannot seem to figure out. Whenever I go into IE and try to go to windowsupdate.com, it says the page is not found. When I do a Google search for "windowsupdate", it says the page is not found. No matter how I try and access it, it just won't get there. From the little bit of Google magic I have done, it sounds like this is a virus of some sort, but all the scans I have done have not brought anything up. Anyone run into this before and know how I can get rid of it? I am running XP Media Center Edition, SP3.

to me, doesn't sound like the malware thing is under control at all. you might be better off backing up all of your data and then doing a reinstall / restore

Try Hitman Pro 3.5. It has found things in the past that nothing else did. You get a free 30 day trial if it does find anything.

You are the man ! I just wish this were more than a 30-day trial! This program did the trick. Thanks again!
