Looks like the ole QB merry go round is starting up in St. Louis. How many mistakes before they pull Bulger, or how many wins before the starting job is his for keeps?

First smart thing Martz has done all year. He ought to trade one or the other right now and get it over with, just so there's none of this QB controversy BS hanging over the team the rest of the season.

The quarterback position in the NFL needs to be solidified. Although theoretically, you should be able to get by with a "who's got the hot hand" qb system, you need to have your rb's and wr's on the same page. Every QB is a little different with timing, accuracy and velocity.
As for trading one of them, I'm sure EVERY team in the NFL would go for a Bulger trade, not because he has more upside, but because he's much,much,much cheaper than Warner. Nobody's going to pay 7 million or however much Warner is getting. |
