Ok, just purchased OOTP X and I'd like to join, but, at an average of about 30KB a second for the download, it may be next week before I can actually play...

the next sim isn't until Sunday. Even at 30k/sec, you should be good to go before then.

Any word on when they may actually be available or perhaps I can take either the Reds or Astros and if the Padres do become available at a later time, switch to them?

The padres owner exports quite a bit. Right now the Reds and Astros are available, the Brewers have an owner, but he hasn't exported yet. And I dunno where Chinaski is...he usually exports more often.

Glad to see the interest. This is a good league with a consistent, attentive commish. Although the forums aren't always buzzing with activity, it's clear the owners are participating. Come be a part!

Ok, how do I upload my team file? I created it, but, nothing is obvious from the game interface on where to upload it other than the FTP options. However, they don't seem to be what I need.

You have the info for downloading in your sig, but, no uploading info.

I think I may have uploaded it, but, I'm not sure.

I saved the team file and then chose to upload the file and a dialog came up saying it was successful after the progress bar went away.

Last Exports

I think you exported a couple hours after I did the sim.

So, checking the Last Exports screen should be the best indication that my file up loaded successfully then? If so, cool!

Yours uploaded correctly, but it was late and it didn't get used. So you'll need to update your league file to the newest file and re-export.
