Need some prayers, guys. My girl called me about 20, 25 minutes ago just absolutely distraught. Bawling her heart out, really.
I'm not sure precisely what happened, but the gist appears to be that her father went into the bathroom, came out, turned either pale white or beet red (he turned both shades at one point or another, but I'm not sure which came first), made a motion like he was trying to vomit, and then passed out. She called an ambulance, but while it was on the way, he woke up again, and at this point, he was the opposite shade of what he had been before he passed out. if he had been pale white, he was beet red, or vice versa. As I said, I'm not sure because it was tough getting anything coherent out of her. She's on her way to the hospital right now. If y'all could, I'd appreciate some prayers for her father. She and he haven't always been on the best of terms, but she still loves him, and this kinda isn't the best day for something seriously traumatic to be happening, y'know? Not that there ever IS a best day, but just...not today of all days, especially. Thanks. Josh |

Got a bit of an update, folks.
Her dad's a diabetic, and it seems that a couple valves in his stomach failed. Caused his glucose level to soar, but his blood pressure level to drop. Long and the short of it was, it was evidently a fainting spell. They're keeping an eye on him, but it looks like everything is gonna be okay, at least for now. Thanks so much for your prayers, and definitely keep 'em comin'. Josh |
