I don't have any sports ones to add, but I have discovered a couple over the last few months that I like:

There is now a freakanomics podcast. Basically a podcast that takes a quirky look at things from an economic perspective.

The Moth. Live storytelling. Kind of close to This American Life in terms of feel and style. I like it because they tend to be bite-sized stories.
