Okay, I have to admit that this thread cracked me up several times.
By the way, I disagree that both guys were itching to go. Old man wanted to go. Younger guy did not. He was hoping his act would be enough and was totally caught out when dude started throwing. I think it was Eddie Murphy in Raw who has a bit similar to this.

I'm very torn on this. I'm disgusted, saddened, amused, and morbidly curious all at once.
I agree, the young guy definitely was not itching to fight. He was itching to look tough and make the old guy back down. The fact that he got smacked for it does amuse me a bit, but I also don't think the old dude was in anyway trying to actually avoid a confrontation. Listening to the interview with the old guy, wow...he's obviously on something and completely insane. I have no idea what he was talking about, and maybe he doesn't realize that there is a videotape of the incident. Things like this make me glad I live in a small town. No question that the old guy knew how to throw a punch, and this was far from the first time he'd been in an altercation.
Someone just sent me this "aftermath" video, in case anyone needs more proof that the old guy is completely out of his mind. Last edited by Calis : 02-20-2010 at 05:51 PM. |
