I'm making a database for my upcoming fantasy baseball draft and I can't get a query to work right to save my frickin life. Here's what I've done

(1) Created a table with all of the owners and budgets, plus a blank owner for unowned players
(2) Created 2 tables, one for hitters and one for pitchers, which is populated with projections imported from a spreadsheet

I've added a column to the hitter and pitcher tables to indicate the owner. I created it as a lookup on the owner table so I can only select valid owners. Now, I'd like a query to run on each of the hitters and pitchers tables to only show me players owned by "owner a" and it doesn't work. If there is any kind of filter criteria, no results are returned. Ever.

I'll be happy to share the db if necessary.

Is the bound column the owner name? My first guess would be the bound column is an autonumber/primary key field and not the owner name.

Send it to me tonight and I will look at it at lunchtime at work tomorrow since I don't have access at home.

You may have already gotten your answer, but it was not mentioned. Did you create a one to many relationship between the owners table and both the hitters and pitchers table?
