Was thinking about this thread a few minutes ago when I was talking with someone about which extensions would be absolutely required to be available for Chrome before I swtiched.

I decided on photobucket uploader and smart bookmarks bar.

ESPECIALLY smart bookmarks bar. I can't stand any other way of using bookmarks now. I have a big row of icons for bookmarks with no text. Greatest thing ever. Try it out, I love it. Here's a screenshot:

FiddlerHook - integrate Fiddler into firefox
Firebug - debug tool
FlashBlock - an Awesome utility that blocks flash on pages.

if you don't have Flashblock installed you don't know what your missing. Its like surfing the web in a whole new way

it replaces the flash with a little flash icon. all you have to do is click the icon and the flash loads

No Script takes that one step further but blocking Java and Flash, etc.

OneClick YouTube Downloader (since youtube is blocked at school and I use a lot of videos in my teaching, I spend a lot of time saving youtube to my computer. I'm almost done)
Photobucket Uploader (can't live without anymore)
Smart Bookmarks Bar (can't live without anymore)
UrlbarExt (gives more functions in your location bar, like make tinyurl and sequential url navigation, and more)
