Great deals on both and Shaun has done amazing things with Puresim, totally recommend taking the plunge if you are on the fence, plus Puresim 2 buyers get a really good deal on Puresim 3!

Its leaps and bounds beyond PS1. I would take a look at the WS forums since the changes are in the hundreds, besides if you purchase PS 2 you get PS 3 when its released for free.

Couldn't pass this deal up. Purchased the game a little while ago. I was hoping the other game on sale would've been DDS:Pro Basketball II.

Too bad Sony didn't have this same deal!

My suggestion would be to download the demo. It will let you run a full season, for any year since 1900 and we even have 2009 stats in there already Of course you can go the purely fictional route as well.

Here is a mirror link that is really fast:

Download PureSim 2

Here is a detailed list of all the changes

I'm really proud of how far we have come over the last 6 months.

Yeah same here I was eyeing DDS:Pro Basketball II but at $40 it's alittle too much for me. This is considering the fact that from everything I have read and not hearing anything from beta tester due to the beat being closed DDS PB II does not seem to be much of a leap forward from I which currently satisfies my gaming for the NBA.

Whoa whoa! Please post on the forums, because we are seeing nothing like this. The latest release has been rock solid, so maybe this is an edge case we missed in testing. Any info you can post at the WS forums will be helpful and I'll have a look.

I am more than just a little impressed with Shaun.. I've been apathetically lurking around puresim since his 2nd build. I went and bought PS1, never had a problem, never downloaded mods and once in a while played it as baseball is not my 1st love. Bought ps2 and had a problem. now, less than 3 hours after I go on Wolverines site and state my problem he finds the problem and is going to issue a beta patch, on thanksgiving weekend when he should be resting. Damn thats good..

Yeah i will admit i have always been very impressed with Shaun's service. He is always open to suggestions for things you would like changed and seems to try and fit everything he can in to the game. Issues that come up are squashed before he moves on to a new build. The Thanksgiving made it easier for me to buy because while i love baseball i really do not have a lot of time to play.

I bought earlier this week as soon as I found out we'd get a free upgrade to PS 3 when it comes out. Gotta support the devs out there making these games because there are less and less of them every year. This year has been particularly rough.

Turns out I'm quite impressed with PS 2, it is quite a bit better than the 2007 version and well worth the upgrade as is!

So thanks Shaun!

PS2 is really quite nice - there's a lot of lil improvements over 2007.

And for whatever reason - the game now recognizes the schedules for the early years (i started in 1901) and is importing them (i'm sure I had something goofed up, but still)! That alone makes me feel it's worth it!
