Since I've been doing my own computer poll and this came around, I've been wanting to do a sort of FOFC BCS ranking that included this poll, but needed to figure out some components and actually put it together. I finally have.

FOFC: Front Office Fake Championship standings

The FOFC/FOFC Standings are calculated in a similar fashion as the BCS standings. But rather than six computer rankings, this one just has 4 and two polls. The two polls are cartman's FOFC poll and the Legends Poll which is lame, but...if nothing else, it's transparent and a bit less lame than the Harris Poll to be sure. And it wouldn't be a BCS-like system if it didn't have components of lameness.

The four computer rankings are:

Solecismic Football Frontier Rankings
Huckleberry Rankings
Omnivore Computer Rankings
Nutshell Girl Rankings (The only non-FOFC computer ranking included. I figured it'd be an even more interesting fake BCS ranking if you included a woman's rankings, since she's apparently the only one doing it (her husband does the Nutshell computer rankings)

The formula works like the BCS. Team percentages are derived by dividing a team's actual voting points by the total number of points available in the cartman/FOFC poll and the Legends poll each week. computer rankings calculated in inverse points order (25 for #1, 24 for #2, etc.) are used to determine the overall computer component, the worst score is dropped and the remaining three are divided by 75 (the max. number of points) to produce a computer rankings percentage.

Then the FOFC/FOFC average is calculated by averaging the percent totals the FOFC poll, Legends poll and computer rankings.

Here's the first set of rankings:
Code:
1. Florida (.8326) 2. Texas (.8121) 3. Alabama (.7963) 4. TCU (.7480) 5. Cincinnati (.7030) 6. Boise State (.6379) 7. Georgia Tech (.6376) 8. Ohio State (.5685) 9. USC (.5460) 10. Oregon (.5151) 11. Pittsburgh (.4957) 12. LSU (.4947) 13. Miami (FL) (.4474) 14. Iowa (.4090 15. Utah (.3482) 16. Oklahoma State (.3376) 17. Penn State (.3321) 18. Arizona (.2831) 19. Houston (.2830) 20. Clemson (.2193) 21. Virginia Tech (.2185) 22. BYU (.1742) 23. Oklahoma (.1412) 24. Wisconsin (.1115) 25. Texas Tech (.1114)

Is there a girl in the world that likes football not because the guy she's fucking/married to also likes football? That would be neat.

Then again, she'd probably be frumpy and unattractive, so forget I said anything.
