Singled 4 years today

Well, today is my 4 year singled anniversary

4 years ago on this day, I finally got out of the life draining, on-again-off-again nightmare of a relationship I had been in for the 7 years prior. I was in a total rut for at least the last 3 of those years. The first couple of years were great, but we probably should have just stayed broken up after the first time we called it quits (roughly 3 years into the relationship). The 4 years that followed of us not being able to stay away but not really committing were...awful. Not to mention, because of the rut I allowed myself to get into in that relationship, my life basically stalled in every possible way.

Finally being able to get the hell out of that soul sucking relationship was the best thing that could have happened (even though at the time I think I wrote an emo post on here about it).

So, to celebrate this anniversary, I am spending the day doing absolutely nothing. Why? Because I fucking can, that's why!
