I feel the same way. In fact, I debated taking him, but I just don't see him doing much better than last year with the Wings.

I waited really long to get a reserve D...there is nobody out there!

19.12 Jan Hejda, D, Columbus

And to begin the final round..we are really gonna finish this thing!
I haven't taken a wild homer pick all draft, until now-

20.1 Tyler Kennedy, RW, Pittsburgh

He's locked up the spot next to Malkin, crazier things have happened.

Please note that Kennedy is a C in the Yahoo game. He will likely gain RW eligibility soon but he is a C to start the season.

Thanks...I didn't even look. I just assumed he wasn't drafted.

If I am starting him week 1 or 2, I am struggling anyway

Please note that I will update the draft results after 4 PM today. This action will officially launch the league. You should see your entire roster after 4 PM. Please let me know if there are any discrepancies between your roster and your draft results. Thanks again to RomaGoth for helping out with the draft.

I was really down on my team for a while there, but looking over the roster they aren't as bad as I thought. The old guys will have to hold up and the goaltending will be a huge question mark, but with Lidstrom leading the defense there's hope yet.

I have re-created the Wings in Fantasy form!

And I've literally drafted the Oilers. Well, most of them.

At least aside from Hemsky, Penner and Visnovsky I'm not terribly invested high pick wise, but yikes did this ever turn into a homer draft for me.

Thank you everyone. We've completed the draft. You will see your team in the lineup screen now (note that you need to click on Thursday, October 1 to see your roster). Please double check that your roster is 100% accurate. Thank you.

Is the first matchup longer than a week? My other league, we go from Oct 1st - Oct 11 for week one, then Monday - Sunday after.

I believe so. That's how I have seen it done before in hockey and in other sports' fantasty leagues for Yahoo.

I know I imported last year's settings for our league this year but I thought it was a weekly league (set your week's roster on Sunday night). I see now this is a daily league. I'm sorry but I don't think I can change it. I hope that is ok with everyone.

Fine with me, that is how I have always played Yahoo hockey. You can set your roster for each day ahead of time too, which is nice in case you can't go online every day (or don't want to).

Daily league kind of sucks, but explains why it appeared that I could move guys around after the start of the week.

Yeah. It's my team. I thought I'd set it actually, but when I went to check none of my moves had been saved. That's annoying. Oh well. It appears to be working now.

Is there any limit on the number of games we can play for a certain position or can we just keep churning players daily?
