You know I think I am really starting to come around on the NBA

I think it has been a real gradual shift for me but I am really starting to see the light. The anti-NBA stuff all sounds so good on paper but none of it ever really seems to pan out into reality. The players already have weed and can get the weed, and we think giving Darius Miles a ten game suspension (not a Ron Artest suspension) is going to somehow make them drop their desire for weed, or just use regular over the counter sedatives to get high? David Stern needs to back out on all the player control policies. He's just not good at it.

Probably will get a lot of hate from guys who want station-to-station perimeter passing and no dunking, but won't get any love either from the And1 crowd, but 35 years of watching the same boring basketball play has really started to wear on me. I really think the conservative style is more fundamentally sound and a better way to go, but it just is not possible. I wish banning weed would get us some fundamentally sound basketball. But that's just not going to happen.

I personally enjoy the ability to walk from the free throw line to the basket without dribbling.

Anybody else see the similarity between Charlton Heston and David Stern?

I only just now figured out that this was the parody thread and the NRA thread was the original. When I saw them both I assumed it was the other way around.

Truly a sign of a great parody thread then.

I'm not sure who understandings the traveling rules less - NBA referees or fans that complain about the lack of travel calls.

By gross amount? Or percentage?

You can count my 4 little nieces against if we're talking about option 1...those girls are clueless.

That's a crab dribble. It's in another section of the rule book. How dare you question King James.
