But the two of them really aren't that integrated in the trade. It could just as easily be termed as Marshall for Leinert and KC QB + 2nd rounder for Boldin. The only reason the two trades are connected is because Arizona wants both trades or neither to make sure they come out with a backup QB and WR in the end. There's no swap between Denver and KC.

I've seen probably seven ridiculous "trade rumors" surrounding Marshall and this one makes the least amount of sense.

yup

Denver is going nowhere fast. If they trade Marshall I would imagine it would be for picks.

Right now, its looking like the Jets have the most interest in Marshall. Well if you believe ESPN that is.

Bucs fire their offensive coordinator: Tampa Bay Buccaneers dismiss Jeff Jagodzinski as offensive coordinator - ESPN

This is the dude that BC let go of because he interviewed for the Jets head coaching job. Oops. Though he still got paid a million for not coaching, so surely he's not crying.

posted in the other thread for some reason - this totally makes me . Asshole. Although yeah, somehow he had a $1,000,000 buyout so I'm sure he's laughing all the way to the bank.

What's with OC's being fired right before the season begins?

It made sense when Haley let Gailey go. Haley was going to run that offense anyway so it made sense to do it now rather then wait it.

People in TB seems to think Jags is better suited to be a head coach then an OC, which is fine, but to do it now is stupid. Morris seems way in over his head there just based on how the QB situation is playing out, letting a bunch of vets go and the like. TB has the chance to be an epic debacle.

Let it be said though - I'm glad that Jags left BC, although I think he handled his departure poorly. By all accounts he was a shitty recruiter, and I'm not sure he could win without Matt Ryan - Spaziani is already looking much better than him in terms of recruiting.

This thread really pisses me off. Thankfully only another week though and everyone can talk NFL in the post season thread.

A radio station in Denver, 104.3 The Fan, has posted a photo of a plane in Denver with a Giants team logo on its tail. That has fueled speculation that the Giants and Broncos are working on a Brandon Marshall(notes) trade.

The Giants do need a receiver. And the Broncos and Marshall do need to part ways.

However, there is skepticism amid the speculation, too.

This is from Sporting News, over 8 hours ago.

Plane with NY Giants logo in Denver apparently had nothing to do with Brandon Marshall - NJ.com

Read somewhere that the Giants don't own a plane.

Even though the Giants need a WR, I can't see them going after Marshall after the whole Plexico fiasco.
