I used to live in Independence, Missouri. Big town. Home of Harry S. Truman. Also made the list as one of the top 10 LEAST integrated cities in the nation over 100,000 people. I'm going off the top of my head so don't quote me, but I think it was 98.7% of the population was caucasian as of the 2000 census. Something ridiculous like that.

We lived in a 50 year old neighborhood. Many of the residents were original owners who bought the houses back in the 1950s-1960s. There was not a single minority living in this neighborhood of 100-125 houses.

One day, I was standing outside my house doing some landscaping. The neighbor a couple of houses down, was mowing on his riding mower, drinking beer after beer while doing it. Suddenly, he shuts off the blade and drives his mower down the street towards my house while pulling out a fresh beer. He comes all the way up the driveway.

Always good to see there are some still stuck in the 1950s.

Not long after my wife and I moved into our house, one of our neighbors stopped by for a chat. During the course of the conversation, he mentioned that some "mexicans" had moved in down the street and to be sure to keep the garage door closed because they "would rob us blind".

*sigh*

He's channeling a little Dan Aykroyd with his inflections at times (especially pre glasses). Kept distracting me from his main points

That's funny...I kept thinking Dan Aykroyd too while watching that.

And correct me if I'm wrong, but did that entire speech not include a single conjunction?

That guy is awesome. Doesn't have a clue how government operates but nonetheless would bring some awesomeness to city council meetings.

I didn't hear any either.

Something else that I noticed he was missing from his vocabulary is the word "THE."

That video reminds me of a wrestling promo/comedic skit, this guy is crazy but if he was a wrestler I would give him the world title and push him as a heel.

OK, do I not understand MySpace or does this guy actually have a "band" named the Missouri Jazz Orchestra? And did he really say that Mary Hart and Casem Kasem are influences, and that the band sounds like Christmas, Easter, Van Halen, Jimi Hendrix, Maynard Ferguson, Willie Nelson, Madonna and Joan Jett? That would indeed sound like nothing I've ever heard before.

That guy is either completely insane or just trying to get his 15 minutes of fame. Either way, what a freaking moron.

They ride quads at all hours of the day and night. They let their 4 year old set off fireworks with no one watching him. I could go on and on.

And he drinks Pabst too......This is a man worthy of his title!
