Alright. I just called her, and we cleared everything up. They successfully got my number out of the speed dial and she apologized for all of the calls. She said she wasn't mad -- just wanted to make sure her kids didn't answer the phone and see or hear something inappropriate. Thankfully nobody got too dirty. Please stop bothering her. We've had our fun, now let's let everyone get back to their normal lives. Thanks guys.

It's not the "can't remove the number" thing that gets me. it's the idea that just because a number was for some reason in her phone she had to keep calling it. Is this how she uses the phone? Calling random numbers out of her contact list? Or is she kind of OCD, and has to call through the whole list before she calls anyone a second time?

I had 2 missed calls from a number in 15 minutes today. Called back to figure out if it was someone I knew, like a friend calling from a parents house or something, got the standard non-name voicemail so I googled it. No idea who the people are, and sure enough 2 minutes later it rings again when I still have that page open in another window. "Hello?" "Oh, wrong number." "That doesn't explain why you've called it 3 times in the last 20 minutes, Mrs. X. Do I have to come over to XX St. and reprogram your phone for you?"

Strangely enough she didn't respond. But, no calls since.

Okay, have all the idiots come out? My wife's been getting her calls from a cell phone only 2 numbers different from hers (hers is like 7171 and theirs is 7373) Well, they just talked loudly asking for Larry. Next time they call back, I'll just call them in return asking for Larry as well.

Apparently it's idiot cell phone week. I don't know why people keep calling the same wrong number repeatedly.
