Edward: Um, I set two houses on fire tonight and I killed my girlfriend.
Operator: Excuse me.
Edward: Um, did you hear me?
Operator: I want you to repeat it and where did this occur at?
Edward: 8675 Scarsdale Blvd. and 5001…those houses should be pretty much gone.
Operator: In Columbus?
Edward: Uh, yeah they’re both in Columbus.
Operator: Okay sir, and what is your name?
Edward: My name is Edward Lewis Offord II.
Operator: Okay Edward what is your cell phone number you’re calling from.
Edward: 614-425-06…
Operator: Okay Edward I want you to stay on the phone with me.
Edward: Okay.
Operator: I’m connecting you over to the Columbus police.
Edward: Can you right now hold on a minute…?
Police: What is your emergency?
Operator: Edward?
Edward: Yes?
Operator: Okay I want you to tell Columbus what you just told me.
Edward: Hey Columbus, I set two houses on fire tonight and shot my girlfriend in the back of the head.
Police: Where at sir?
Edward: 8675 Scarsdale Blvd. and 5001…
Police: I’m sorry, you’re at 8675?
Edward: I was then I went to her house and burned it.
Police: You burned her house? Where does she live at?
Edward: She lives in 5001…I live on Scarsdale Blvd.
Police: Okay sir you’re going to have to slow down on the other address I got Scarsdale but what is the other address where you burned down the house?
Edward: 5001 Charlbury. C-h-a-r-l-b-u-r-y. I know the police and the fireman are already at the scene ma’am. And my house also I put a bunch of explosives and set it on fire so…

Edward: There are bodies there.
Police: At your house?
Edward: Yeah.
Police: But you did this somewhere else?
Edward: Well no her body is there and I burned my house and went to her house and torched it.
Police: And you shot her in the head?
Edward: I did, yeah, she's dead.
Operator: We’re still on the line. Edward are you over by the…
Edward: Yeah, yeah I’m off to one of the places you pull off for fishing.
Operator: Yeah, 6020 Riverside Dr.
Edward: That’s about right.
Police: You’re at 6020 Riverside Dr.
Edward: I don’t know where it is for sure, it’s one of the pull out sites.
Operator: That’s where our GPS is putting him in Columbus.
Police: Where is she at in the house?
Edward: She was in the TV room; it’s by the back of the house.
Police: Where’s the gun that you shot her with?
Edward: In the trash can.
Operator: Edward do you have any weapons on you?
Edward: Uh, yes I do. There’s a shotgun in the back of the car and I have two hand guns with me.
Police: And you have two handguns with you?
Edward: Yes I do.
Police: What?
Edward: Yes I do.
Police: And a shotgun?
Edward: The shotgun is in the trunk, yeah.
Police: Are all the guns in the car or do you have one on you?
Edward: I have two in my hand right now.
Police: Can you put those guns down for me?
Edward: Oh sure.
Police: What happened tonight to make you do this Hun? Are you there? Hello? Edward?
Operator: He just hung up.
Police: He hung up?
Operator: Yeah. I got Delaware’s deputy en route.
Police: Okay, thank you so much.
Operator: Alright.
Police: We’re en route too.
Operator: Okay
