Looks like it paid off. Unless there's some flukish tackle point or something, You'll have won by fractions of a point. The real kicker is that if I *hadn't* started the Bears, I'd have won as they were worth negative

The league has really tightened up with the top 4 teams at 6-3 and then two more at 5-4.

molson, you seem to have some bye week guys in there that you might want to change before tomorrow.

Which means I might actually get a win. (My opponent, who's actually in playoff contention, starts 4 players with byes).

Then again, looking at my RB situation, maybe not.

And my lineup is no longer "invalid". Unless invalid means awful.

It didn't matter - but it annoys me you can't pick up guys on Monday who are playing that night and put them into your line-up. I couldn't switch Harrington for Redman (and that sentence sums up how miserable this season has been).

Taz: you had ridiculously bad luck this season. A friend of mine is in a similar boat in another league. 2nd highest scorer, non winning record due to close losses and blowout wins.

Masked: Sorry, that's how Yahoo is set up. I'm not sure there's any way to change that. Actually, what I'd kindof like is something similar to the CBS league where every week it's like players are on waivers so you have to get in line to pick up WW fodder rather than just blitzing for new players.

Unfortunately, I don't think I'll be able to do a league this year. I'm going to be moving the weekend before the season starts and we're kindof busy with the packing and the moving at the moment

Wow. This will be the first year I don't do a real fantasy football team (I'm doing the alma mater league but that's not a drafting league or anything) in about 15 years

If someone else wants to pick up the mantle and run with it for a year- I'd be all for that. I just won't be able to participate, much less run one

Give me a weekend and I'll try to get this all straightened out.

It will be similar to the FOFC fantasy baseball league. Preference will go to members who were in the league in 2007 (and not inactive). Then there will be a waiting list for others for the empty slots that invariably come up.

Also, due to roster scarcity, we have a hard limit of 10 players max.

I haven't forgotten about this- I have created a league in Yahoo but I'm still experimenting with the scoring system (spent about 2 hours last night trying to tweak things). I'm traveling tomorrow but hopefully I can get a post up before I leave. If not, sometime this weekend or, at the very least, early next week.
