Anyone been? My wife and I took the trip we originally had planned for our Annivarsary on August 16th in the spring since she would not be able to get any days off now. But we are going to Catalina Island for the weekend to celebrate on the day. We browsed trip adviser for some thing we might want to do, but anyone here have any personal experiences or recommendations?

I was only there once for a party called the Fuckin Catalina Wine mixer. The party was going good till the Billy Joel cover band Uptown Girl got thrown off the stage for threatening the guests. After that there was a lot of yelling and I heard that someone even got fired.

Then a guy named Dragon and his partner Brennan got up on stage and saved the show with a great rendition of Por Ti Volare. His voice sounded like a combination of Fergie and Jesus.

At that point Prestige Worldwide was born.

I was there about 14 years ago for a weekend, but I don't remember much except that it was so beautiful that I was tempted to do a semester long marine biology course there.
