Redirect problems?

Anybody else having FOFC pages constantly redirected by specificclick.net?

At least 50% of the time today my view has suddenly changed from FOFC to a Dell search page saying:
Sorry, we couldn't find http://dg.specificclick.net/%3Fu%3Dh...%23post2091034.

I understand from a quick google search it might be something to do with a site counter, but it's annoying as hell.

Doe s anyone have any advice that might help me block whatever is doing this?

Use noscript with firefox and you can block that type of thing. Likewise most adblockers likely can block it as well with most browsers if you have them enabled.

Thanks Alan - I found an article and file on how to set up the adblocker in IE8, and it seems to have solved it (touch wood)

My problem is different but similar. When I hit the back button, i return to the same page, but my history shows a site with a specificclick URL. If I go back using the history, I'm fine. Again with IE7.

Me, too, Henry. I just use the drop down back menu - not a solution per se, but a work around.

It looks like your best bet may be deleting the specificclick.net cookie, then blocking the cookie in the future.
