Book of Eli and District 9 Trailers
I saw both of these trailers today while watching some Comicon coverage and was wondering if anyone else had a chance to see these. Both movies look decent from the previews.

With this and The Road, a lot of post-apocalyptic stuff coming out. District 9 looks different, but I have a feeling it'll suck.

District 9 was shown at Comic-Con and apparently it was amazing. James Cameron showed a lot of Avatar footage earlier and the reports im reading is that District 9 was actually better. Ive been looking forward to this one for a little while and now im just trying to keep my expectations from getting too high.

Exceptionally well played. My son immediately yelled "he's Lucas Simms"

I'm unsure how The Road translates movie wise. The book was really good but it doesn't feel like something that translates well into a movie. Not a ton of action or big moments.

My son and I said the same thing to each other tonight when the trailer cam on before Orphan (Which is a freaky Movie BTW) That first scene in the trailer of the Collapsed Overpass looks very Fallout. |

I'm a fan of post-apocalyptic literature, but I'm not sure I could bring myself to watch The Road. I'll wait for reviews on Book of Eli. District 9, however, looks good.
