Existenz - Jude Law flick where they were pitching it as better than Matrix...

And as for Cabin Boy...it's where our FBPRO now FOF league name came from...the Fancy Lads!

I actually think "Existenz" is really good good. I know why it was compared to the Matrix, both dealing with virtual worlds and all, but that's pretty much where the comparisons begin and end.

I know Cronnenberg isn't everyone's cup of tea (I go back and forth on the guy), but I really liked Existenz.

+1

One of the best sci fi movies in the last couple decades. YMMV, of course.

This movie definitely fits the bill. It's thoroughly awful and awesome simultaneously.

I liked it to. Of course I didn't know it existed until I stumbled on to it channel surfing. So I missed these Matrix comparisons or any hype. Plus, Jennifer Jason Leigh was smoking.

+1, especially on the JJL part.

Once upon a time in my life, I had this deep desire to see any movie that JJL was in... I think I outgrew that obsession before this movie, but I still enjoyed this movie and her part in it!

Kill and Kill Again - a 1981 kung fu take on The Magnificent Seven. Horrible, but as a twelve year old boy I thought it was all kinds of awesome.

How about Flash Gordon? Really really bad, but when I see that it's on TV, I still watch it for at least a half hour or so.

Has anyone seen Ted Bundy? Pretty self explanatory as to the plot but I remember dying of laughter from this movie with my buddies in high school. I feel it fits the criteria pretty well

For the "They Live" fans, how about the USA Up All Night classic "Hell Comes to Frogtown"?

Existenz gets bonus points for having me wondering WTF was going on for 97% of the movie, before rewarding my patience with an ending that I should have guessed.

I'll nominate Hudson Hawk, with Bruce Willis, Danny Aiello and Andie MacDowell as one choice and The Long Kiss Goodnight with Geena Davis and Samuel L. Jackson.

Both are deliciously bad yet entertaining.

Howzabout the newest Wicker Man with Nicholas Cage? That movie is laughably bad by almost any standard.

I LOVE Hudson Hawk. I am the only person I know who feels this way. Until now, that is.

How to Kill Your Neighbor's Dog. Like pretty much any movie with Kenneth Branagh, a guilty pleasure of mine.
