Thanksgiving humor
The Parrot
A young man received a parrot as an early Christmas gift. The parrot had a bad attitude and an even worse vocabulary. Every word out of the bird's mouth was rude, obnoxious and laced with profanity. He tried and tried to change the bird's attitude by consistently saying only polite words, playing soft music and anything else he could think of to 'clean up' the bird's vocabulary. Finally, He was so fed up that he yelled at the parrot. The parrot just yelled back. He shook the parrot and the parrot only got angrier and ruder. In desperation, he threw up his hands, grabbed the bird and shoved him in the freezer. For a few moments the parrot squawked and kicked and screamed. Then suddenly there was total quiet - Not a peep was heard for over a minute. Fearing that he'd hurt the parrot, he quickly opened the door of the freezer. The parrot calmly stepped out onto his outstretched arms and said: "I believe I have offended you with my rude language and actions. I'm sincerely remorseful for my inappropriate transgressions and I fully intend to do everything I can to correct my rude and unforgivable behavior." The young man was stunned at the change in the bird's attitude. As he was about to ask the parrot what had made such a dramatic change in his behavior, the bird continued.... "May I inquire as to what the turkey did?" Last edited by Kodos : 11-26-2008 at 02:59 PM. |

One of my coworkers sent that to me. Not a Kodos joke, in case anyone was wondering.

Not a joke,

Ok, after reading M GO BLUE!!!'s post, I went to check the score and saw Culpepper fumbled, and then right after the Titans scored.

Nope. For as long as I can remember, it has always been Detroit and Dallas on Thanksgiving. |

Yeah, Rick Astley didn't just perform. It was a true Rick Roll. I thought the whole Rick Roll thing was pretty dumb from the start, but still this was pretty epically hilarious.

Me too.. always a fond memory. I remember one year, I think it was in 90 where he just had an amazing game and all of the guys in my family were just gathered around the TV in awe. |

Not really, as you can see the thread died along with those fond memories of a day when Detroit didn't suck as totally as they do now. |
