Heh Izulde,
Yeah I had already seen that article and a bunch of others praising Thigpen this week thanks to a neat KC Chiefs blog I found this season (arrowhead pride). Many of the articles seem to think he's the second-coming of Tom Brady (low round draft pick becoming a star). Which I think is a bit premature. No make that a lot premature. There's a reason he was drafted in the 7th round and then cut by the Vikings. He still has a lot to learn about how to play at the NFL level and will make his share of his mistakes. But it's been wild and exciting to see him play so well these past four weeks. I never would have believed you if you told me he would go almost four straight games without an INT and be in the top 5 of fantasy football QB's these past few weeks. It would be thrilling if he somehow became the franchise QB the Chiefs so desperately need, but I'm not holding my breath. Just crossing my fingers a lot when he plays every Sunday. Thanks for thinking of me though. Last edited by Thomkal : 11-16-2008 at 08:45 PM. |

I'm curious what other people think of Thigpen's chances of making it as a starting QB in the NFL?
