Check Out My Pumpkin!
i did this for my 3 month old son, i wanted him to have the coolest looking pumpkin in the neighborhood. i'm really happy how it came out considering i didn't have any proper pumpkin carving tools. took me about 2 hours tonite, give or take. well worth it.
THE JOKER (HEATH LEDGER VERSION) for reference (not the pic that was used for the pumpkin though) Last edited by Anthony : 10-30-2008 at 04:43 PM. |

Why would an infant like a pumpkin carved out that looks like the killer from No Country for Old Men?

that's the pic that inspired me to do a pumpkin carving that was different than the ole jack o lantern. than i decided i was in the mood for something a bit more intricate and felt like challenging myself. good thing too, cuz when i told the wife about my original vomiting pumpkin idea she wasn't thrilled about it.

same reason why Elton John redid a version of "Norma Jean" for a dead Princess Diana. she couldn't appreciate it, but the thought counted nonetheless. this is a happy thread, go find some kids to tell them Santa Claus doesn't exist. |

I will say that Anthony gets alot of shit around here, much justified, but when he talks about his son you can tell he is a good person who cares deeply about his family.

That was one hell of an analogy. Kudos to you, that was out-of-the-box thinking on a first rate basis. I'm serious. |

Nice job on both the pumpkin & the reference to a sh*t song!
Now did you put the pumpkin in the kid's room with a speaker that you can make scary sounds with at 3am? |

I thought it was the Joker as well. Either way, it's a cool face and a nice treat for the kid.

i carved my first pumpkin in 30 years last week. Being the token American here, everyone assumed I knew how to do it. I went on to Youtube for tips (good thing, too). My girl and her two friends drew the designs onto the pumpkin and then I hacked away. I then insisted the girls pull out the guts, but they quickly got grossed out so mom gave them spoons. Spoons! Over my dead body! it's Halloween! Hungarians just don't know nuthin.
