Halloween Playlists?
Halloween Playlists
A conversation I had while out to lunch today with friends prompted thoughts of a wider discussion. Now that we're in October and Halloween is coming closer, I started looking to put together a good Halloween playlist to put into rotation. I've got a couple dozen songs I already have (mix of all genres), but they're really pretty all over the place between kitschy, spooky, etc... but I don't quite have the numbers to cut it down and avoid too much repetition. Two spoiler sets, one with the list that I own and one with some recommendations I've picked up from various sources. As per usual with my own playlists, it's heavy on the Broadway/Soundtrack types. It's not for a Halloween party or anything in particular, just general October listening and possibly something to put on in the background while giving out candy in a few weeks (so probably too explicit = bad... particularly with a young kid in the house). There's got to be better ideas out there than what I have. So... what's missing?

I often hear Oingo Boingo tunes playing on the radio for Halloween.
