USF Dynasty (NCAA 09)
Hey guys, i'm starting a new dynasty. Heisman mode with 6 minute quarters. Picked randomly and got USF. I used to post at dynasty manager's site, but I thought i might post somewhere new for a change.

here is a look at our 08-09 schedule:
Tennessee Martin- looks like an easy win @ UCF- would be nice to win this one cuz they're our rivals Kansas- could be a really tough one @ Florida International- won't be a close one, won't be blowout @ NC State- this could be a trap game for us Pittsburgh- always tough to beat a team when they have a guy like they do at running back Syracuse- one of the easier games on the schedule @ Louisville- with Brohm gone this one will much easier to win @ Cincinnati- this one could go either way Rutgers- they're one dimensional with Ray Rice gone Connecticut- i don't buy all of the buzz that Connecticut could be Big East Champs @ West Virginia- Pat White and Noel Devine! Uh-Oh!

Recruiting signed one recruit. Guard Marcus Mays, **, Jacksonville Beach (FL) Game Week One my first game: Tennessee Martin 7 @ USF 45 Grothe had a monster day- 169.1 Rating, 23-36 with 294 Yards and 4 TD Mike Ford led the rushing attack with 17 carries for 114 yards and a TD Our leading receiver was Adrian Love who had seven receptions for 121 yards with 2 TD No One stood out defensively. Three different guys had picks (Williams, Baker, Butler) Preseason All-American Defensive End, George Selvie, was pretty silent all day with just 1 tackle

Week 2
Recruiting Nothing new here. No recruits committed to me or elsewhere. Gameweek 2-0 baby! It's nice to start off the season with two easy victories, including one over a rival . USF 59 @ UCF 24 their qb Greco threw 4 interceptions (2 of them being pick six) so that helped me out a lot. Grothe came up big again- 222.7 Rating, 15-20, 297 Yards, 2 TD, INT (also had two rushing TD) Ford was solid- 14 carries, 96 yards, 2 TD, 6.8 YPC Carlton Mitchell had a huge day- 2 receptions for 112 yards, TD (had a 98 yard TD reception Defensively we were great. Four different guys picked off Greco, and our star, Selvie, was awesome. He had six tackles, 3 TFL, 2 Sacks. Heisman Race Through 2 Weeks Tim Tebow (UF) Chris Wells (OSU) Percy Harvin (UF) Chase Daniel (Miz) Michael Crabtree (TTU) Top 25 News Florida bumped down to 13 after losing to Miami (FL)

Recruiting
Nothing worth noting. Play Week Upset Central! Kansas 21 @ USF 42 Grothe was da man- 249.3, 13-19, 252 Yards, 4 TD (Passing Totals)- 10 Carries, 63 Yards, TD (Rushing Totals) He picked up for Ford who had an off day. Our defense was once again great. They forced Reesing to throw 4 picks. George Selvie carried the pass rushing unit with 7 tackles (2 TFL) and a sack. This brings our record to 3-0, which will probably soon be 4-0 considering the fact that we're playing FIU next week. But ya never know! Heisman Race Through Week 3 QB Tim Tebow (UF) - RB Chris Wells (OSU) - WR Percy Harvin (UF) - QB Cullen Harper (Clem) ^ QB Sam Bradford (OU) - Top 25 News Kansas dropped from #15 to #20 after I defeated them. USC lost to The University of Ohio State in the game of the week, and dropped from #4 to #10.

Week 4
Recruiting Signed one recruit, Sean Parker, Free Safety from Goose Creek (SC). Two Stars. Game Week OK... I spoke too soon. I'm convinced that I jinxed myself. I lost. Not only did I lose, but I lost by 2 to Florida International! USF 17 @ FIU 19 They dropped 14 early unanswered points, and I never was ahead. My o-line was atrocious! They gave up 6 sacks! That is an area of concern for me now. If teams like FIU are tallying six sacks than WVU will sack me a two dozen times. Selvie was as silent as a mouse. He is awesome player, but is really inconsistent. He had 4 tackles, no sacks or TFLs. Grothe was actually really good but threw one really bad INT. Really disappointed. Shoulda won it. Coulda won it. Woulda like to have one it. Heisman Race Through Week 4 QB Tim Tebow (UF) - RB Chris Wells (OSU) - ATH Percy Harvin (UF) - QB Cullen Harper (Clem) - QB Sam Bradford (OU) - Top 25 News Georgia destroyed South Carolina and Steve Spurrier. South Carolina is 2-1 now and Georgia is still perfect with a 3-0 record.

Week 5
Recruiting No news worth noting. Game Week That was close. Barely beat NC State 30-28. I knew even before the season started that this one would be tough. Grothe had to be replaced later in the game by the backup because of an injury, but he still did well- 204.1 Rating, 13-18, 228 Yards, 2 TD, INT Ford turned in a good game- 17 Carries, 90 Yards, 5.2 YPC Taurus Johnson (5 catches, 115 Yards, TD) and Carlton Mitchell (10 catches, 153 Yards, TD) dominated the NC State secondary. Our defense was ok, nothing stellar though. Selvie had a bad day only 4 tackles with no sacks or TFLs. Heisman Race Through 5 Weeks RB Chris Wells (OSU) ^ QB Cullen Harper (Clem) ^ QB Tim Tebow (UF) ! RB C.J. Spiller (Clem) ^ RB Mike Davis (S Car) ^ Top 25 News No football factory lost.
