New RFL Rule - No using the Supersim feature
Supersim is broken in NCAA 2009. Ohio State scored 150 points (or something ridiculous like that) in a Supersimmed game against an FCS team in Week 1. Since this obviously will have an effect on stuff like the race for the Heisman trophy and produce completely unrealistic stats, it's best to just remove Supersim from our options as players.
Bignej -- this isn't trying to single you out at all. Your game just illustrated why it needs to be banned. Next season, we will also ban playing FCS teams. They can be replaced with cupcakes, but there will be no more ultra-cupcakes in RFL! Hope everyone is enjoying the beginning of the season. Can't wait to play my game! |

We're no cupcake! I'll have you know that we aren't even rated 11th in the Big 10. We're rated 10th! In other words, WE ARE A FORCE TO BE RECKONED WITH!

When I play Indiana now people will assume I cheated and used SuperSim when I am up 102-7.

Nope. Just post a video of me unintentionally pulling my DBs out of coverage as the receiver catches the ball, and you're good to go.

Its awful actually because I supersimmed the rest of the game so it would not get too ridiculously out of hand. I guess the problem is playing the FCS teams at all. I could have easily scored the 150 myself. Alot of it has to do with the 7 min quarters as I think the Supersim may have been programmed for 5 min quarters(who the hell knows) If we have them scheduled at all we should sim them and not play them.

I played pretty much just the 1st quarter. My starting quarterback had only 4 attempts. My team had alot of INT/FUM/KR/PR TDs.
Edit: What I'm saying as that I am definitely all for this rule.

Notre Dame laughs at the inferior Hoosiers. We are the real pride of Indiana.

technically Ohio State should've just rescheduled their game vs. FCS. that woulda been a prime candidate to replace with a human-owned team.

Oh, I will. I will. BTW, I think we should move our new series to the last week of the regular season (week 15) starting next year. You get the UCLA-USC, Texas A&M-Texas, Ohio State-Michigan rivals; with championship and bowl bids on the line. Last edited by Galaxy : 08-01-2008 at 10:19 PM. |

We could do that. Sweeping Purdue and Notre Dame to close out the season before our bowl would be heavenly.

We could call is the Golden Dome trophy, because we'll be carrying your severed heads out in their helmets after each thrashing.
