Carling Cup Final - Tottenham vs. Chelsea (Potential Spoilers)

Just getting ready to watch this... As a Spurs fan I am a bit nervous but I think we have a great shot at winning. I don't get Setanta but I have found a place online to watch the game (I think). I will post it here if it works once the game gets started.

COYS!

Seems the stream is working...

Go about halfway down the page and click on the Carling Cup Link...

Hope this works for others that may want to watch...

I'm watching on Setanta while at work. Tottenham seem like good money so far

Missed the goal while switching over from a webcast in moon language to the one listed in this thread. Was it a pretty even game up until the goal?

It looks like things are getting a little heated before the halftime whistle, maybe the handbags will come out like during last year's Chelsea-Arsenal final.

Yeah I missed the goal too... Stream was buffering at that time...

Tottenham looked really good up until the goal. Chelsea seem to have put a little more effort in getting back and defending since the goal and there is less space to work with.

I still think Spurs can even it up. What happens after we hopefully make it 1-1 is anyone's guess.

The stream just cleared up in time for the boys celebration... I guess the stream was bogged down with a bunch of Chelsea fans and they all quit watching!!!

It is great to watch them celebrate... I feel great for guys like Keane and Ledley King!

1999 League Cup actually.

Well played Spurs, it's always nice to see Chelsea lose.

Sorry didn't realize we won the League Cup in 1999?

Shortly after 1999 is when I became a Spurs fan...

It is really interesting to hear some of the guys thoughts that are diehards on the COYS messageboard...

I found it a few months back. Sometimes the streams blow but for the most part it is pretty handy...

Yeah the viewing window was quite a bit larger than the site I normally go to for streams, livefooty.doctor-serv.com

The more options the better.

Juande Ramos has quickly built a hell of a good record in cup finals, adding today's win to two UEFA Cups and a Copa del Rey. As far as I could tell from a quick Wikipedia/google search he hasn't lost one either.

wow. 'grats.

if they don't mess this team up during the offseason, with a full year under juande ramos and ledley king back, this will be one hell of a scary team.

I just posted in the soccer thread not having seen this one yet... this team has huge potential.

It's a massive win because

1) It's silverware
2) They went through Arsenal and Chelsea to get it - teams they never beat
3) It ensures UEFA Cup competition next year, which they are unlikely to earn through league position.

They can focus even more on the UEFA Cup now if necessary, which is another huge side-effect.

Just a great day to be a Spurs fan.
