Fun part is early predictions had the Giants doing it, as NED would have everything sown up while NYG would be fighting for playoff positioning, when now it looks like NYG is locked into the #5 seed and the only one with anything to play for then is the Pats potentially going for 16-0.

Probably because they were the only team left with a reasonable chance, even though the Pats have owned them in recent years and the game was in Foxborough. The media seemed to ignore the fact that this was a home game. And I think everyone knows that the NYG doesn't have a prayer unless Brady sits, which doesn't really create much of a story.

And he even played decent . Hell, by that time in the 3rd Q, it was obvious the Ravens weren't going to be able to come back, so why keep the starters in?

I've been watching the 49'ers post game show:

* A fan died at the game when he fell from the upper deck.
* Dilfer is in the hospital. He took quite a shot to his head/neck.
* Alex Smith and Nolan are not on the same page to whether or not he's playing again this year or having surgury.

I'm very surprised this doesn't happen more often.

The Pats are 27point favorites against the Jets.

I have determined that the NFL Booth crew (Gumbel and Collinsworth) makes the ESPN Booth crew look like geniuses.

From what I saw it actually tied the record of 15 set by Kellen Winslow (Sr.)

Kellen Winslow was never a Cowboy. I'm guessing that's the NFL record for catches in a game by a tight end...
