Battlefield 1942

I don't usually like computer games since PS 2 does the job for me but Battlefield 1942 has to be the best game I have ever played. It will be the best game I have played untill Madden 2004 comes out hopefully. I wonder if anyone agrees with me. Battlefield just has so much to like about it.

The only thing I really dont like about BF is that the graphics need to be tweaked to MOH AA standards and to be a little faster like MOH AA ......Otherwise though a great game .

I agree, the graphics are too harsh even if you have a GeForce 4 or Ati Radeon 9800. And flying planes and driving tanks in the game is too hard, you can never calibrate the controller or joystick you're using to the settings because that button might already be in use. But, I like the platoon-level warfare that you undergo, that makes the game worth that full $49.99 plus tax.

For a FREE alternative you can download Americas Army. It's only online, and since I have never played BF1942 I can't compare them, but AA is a ton of fun and is constantly being updated by the DEVS.
