'Mr. Wizard' Don Herbert: We Hardly Knew Ye...
Don Herbert, who as television's "Mr. Wizard" introduced generations of young viewers to the joys of science, died Tuesday. He was 89. Herbert, who had bone cancer, died at his suburban Bell Canyon home, said his son-in-law, Tom Nikosey. Story here |

great show, learned alot from it growing up. i would love to see Nickelodeon put it back on again so my kids could watch it....it was so much better than 90 percent of what is on kids tv now.

I was always more partial to Dr. Julius Sumner Miller.
