Bring Back Family Guy...possibly...or other shows you enjoyed
ok, TNN in June will be renamed "Spike TV, First Network For Men" and they are asking for ideas for shows to air. I don't know if it would be able to be done since Cartoon Network has the old Family Guy episodes on, but I am going to send in that as a suggestion, it does not hurt, they maybe can get new episodes created if enough people request. So, tell everyone you know to get to the website and vote Family Guy....oh and I like it they are bringing back Ren&Stimpy and making them nastier.

I doubt Family Guy is available as they really have nothing else to pair up with Futurama on Adult Swim. Not only that but CN bought them just a few months ago.

TNN should remove that idiot bar from the bottom of the screen. That's the best advice I can give them.

Isn't the TBS/TNT already the first network for men? I mean, Braves games, basketball, man-made movie, John Wayne, James Bond, the occasional showing of Roadhouse....

On the TBS/TNT theme, tell Spike to bring back Sanford and Son from the good old days of TBS past. Is that on anywhere? Aunt Esther used to get me all hot and bothered when she broke out the "Ya ole' fish-eye foooo!" line.

I know...I just think it's funny that at any given time, if you turn on a Turner station you seem to have a 1 in 10 chance of Roadhouse being on |

What happened to that show? The first 6-10 episodes were great, then something happened where they kicked the creator off the development team or something like that, and they went downhill fast. They need to bring back the glory days if they are really bringing it back. It was more gross-out gags than actually funny after awhile. The original episodes were flat-out funny.

Re: Family Guy
I lurk on alt.tv.family-guy and there's a regular poster there who used to work on the show. He is 100 percent absolutely certain that we will never see new Family Guy episodes, so don't get your hopes up, mainly for two reasons: 1. Family Guy was a very expensive show. Fox gave it a huge initial push, even showing the premier after the Super Bowl. A network would have to really want it and spend a lot of money to make it happen. 2. Everyone has moved on. Seth is doing other things, and a lot of the talent went on to MTV's 3-South (although I'm not sure that's even still on).

And if you like Dr. Katz, check out Home Movies, which airs Sundays at 11 (?) PM on the Cartoon Network. Katz does a voice on the show, and it's very similar in visual and comedic style, and is produced by the same company.

Is this for shows they can purchase or shows to buy up and make?

FTR, in the recent interviews with Seth (McFarlane) he's made it clear (under his breath, albeit) that he'd love to do new episodes, and it isn't out of the question at all.
Sweet Zombie Jesus (the guy who worked on the show) has said otherwise, but I'll hope that the fact that Seth is pretty much ready to drop anything else to go back to the show is encouraging. Also, they were talking about some sort of Family Guy movie, possibly. That'd be crazy (though I'd rather have a season's worth of regular episodes). ~rpi-fan

Adam Corolla would surely be willing to do more episodes of the show as Death. He's talked quite a bit on how he thought it was a great show, and how he enjoyed doing the voiceovers as the best experience he's had doing them as he only had to do everything once and was allowed to make almost any changes to his lines that he wanted. Granted, he was never a big part of the show, but maybe Death would have to replace a character like Chris.
Also, for Family Guy fans, creator Seth MacFarlane recently did some Crank Yankers episodes. I'm looking forward to them, though I have no idea when they will air. |

Bring back Action and The Tick!
Hell, it looks like we basically want all of the good shows Fox cancels on a yearly basis. Instead of canceling them, they should just send them to a network that wants them.

As long as we're on good shows that FOX shitcanned before they got a chance to get going, we should probably bring up Titus as well.
