Alright, the Astros won today. Let's go Brew Crew, take care of the Cubs for us so we can get to within a game of first!

Did he have six total?? Never was clear on that. Anyway, Wood is on one of my fantasy teams, so I can kiss that win good-bye. Oh, I have Oswalt on that team too. So at least I got a win there (trying to figure out if Dotel got a hold or not....) |

Glad to see that the Cubs won in 17 innings. If we keep winning, you can't catch us!

Glad to see Corey Patterson turning into the player we all heard he was going to be.
And Choi is a stud.

Don't worry, the Cubs will choke eventually and the Astros will take over first. Of course, then the Astros will choke and the Cards will take over first.
I hate being an Astros fan...

I dont' think the Cubs will choke. The Cubs are historically a horribly mismanaged team at all levels that just doesn't have the talent to win, despite the fact that all us Cubs fans will talk about the playoffs every April.
But this is truly a team with some talent, the fact that they're winning without Sosa in the lineup shows that more than anything. Remember there are two shitty baseball franchises that everyone loves. The Red Sox are the chokers, the Cubs are just blissful losers who are just happy to get to the playoffs once a decade. Maybe Sosa, Wood and Prior and Dusty can change that attitude though. |

With our bullpen JeeberD, the Stros have a good shot this year. Should be a fun weekend with the Cubbies in town today.
