On the recruiting screen I forgot what it means when a recruit is RED in say, Academics... and also whayt does it mean when it says "Distance (Negative)". Thanks

Distance (Negative) indicates the player wants to get away from his home town.

Red entries for academics indicates the player may be foreced to redshirt as an academic nonqualifier.

Actually, if you are referring to the recruiting screen, when a preference such as academics, distance or prestige is red, it means that attribute is very important to them.
