Tax procrastinators, rejoice!

You get TWO extra days this year to file your taxes. They aren't due until April 17th this year, since the 15th is a Sunday and the 16th is a holiday in D.C. Don't believe me, click the link:

It's a little early to expect procrastinators to rejoice.

I work in downtown DC and also do not get that day off. I haven't heard of it either.

Now where the hell are my W-2's and all my other tax forms?

Ditto on the W2s...
whats worse, is I got a letter from the mortgage company that they will not be sending tax statements this year (to reduce cost, honetsly according to the letter) but I could view and print my info on-line....anytime after 11:00pm est 1/31...

Did it really cost less to mass mail the no statement letter and then set up a web site?

There's always gotta be an a-hole.

I am still waiting for 2 more W2's, 2006 was a year when I had too many different jobs, so unfortunately my paper trail is taking forever to get here....

In the age of computers, though, I can't see what the hell this hold up is....
