Alright, I have no shot at anything...so I am entertaining bribes for taking out the leaders during the next race...

Homestead Results
Who would win it all? Newsday or Phillips? That's the question everyone was asking heading into Homestead. Newsday started first, Phillips in second. Newsday pulled away early building a big lead over Phillips. Then Phillips began to fall back. Would Newsday win the title? It sure looked like it. Phillips was then involved in a small wreck. He was spun around and backed into the wall. He went a lap down and Newsday looked like he had it wrapped up. But, just after receiving the yellow flag for another crash, Newsday was hit from behind by GoT. The damage hurt Newsday's car badly. Much worse then Phillips'. But he stayed on the lead lap...for a while. He fell a lap down with about 30 to go and then a caution flag put him back with the pack. He restarted 16th with 20 to go. Phillips was 28th. But Newday would fall back quickly, all the way to 32nd. And Phillips moved up quickly, to 22nd. The championship belonged to Phillips.
IB Long picked up the victory in the season's final race. It was Long's first top 5 of the year. Elkin, T. Snow, Morgan and Nowell rounded out the top 5. I don't know how I ended up in 5th with no wins and 6 top-10 finishes, but it's a good step up from my normal results. However, I see the driving talent doesn't run in the family. Good job Crapnificent.

Needless to say, one driver can't overcome an entire field conspiring against him. Thanks, GoT, you did your job well. Hope you find a good use for that money.
