QOTM: what's the deal w/ Kleenex

I know I have only been around for 6 weeks or so and must have missed something, but what is the deal with the "girlfriends...kleenex" qotm from Easy Mac? Why do I see it every other screen I go to? It is getting on my nerves.

P.S.- this is nothing against Easy, and I assume the quote was very timely and funny. I just don't know why it is so often the qotm on my screen...or is it only me?

Can I turn them off?

In regards to Easy's quote, I think it might be the first quote entered in the database, and for whatever reason seems to come up all the time. As a result, it's over use has put somewhat of a strain on the quote's long-term ability to entertain.

Maybe there is no randomize timer declared, meaning every time you begin browsing FOFC the same quote will be listed (or something else which prevents the randomness to start at your first visit.)

Dola, if that is the case, I will probably just delete the quote forever (unless some other quote becomes overused). I actually like the quote, but it has appeared WAAAAYYY too often.

When I originally deleted it and re-entered it, all it did was fill the original slot which was now missing.

No matter what, the first quote will always come up the most, until the quote database is larger.
