Should I Ask SkyDog to Change my Nick to Abe?
Abe Sargent is my real name, and a lot of you know me as Abe. It'd be more friendly. Many of you are calling me Abe in pms or forum posts.
I recently sent out a business e-mail with "-Anxiety" at the end instead of "-Abe" so it'd also be a way of keeping me honest with that as well What do you think?

You already have 4,000 post under this name. Keep it. I am still not used to seeing Karlifornia when his other screen name was a lot more unique. If you use your name, i am going to immediately think of Mr. Lincoln. How about jbAnxiety?

If you want everyone one FOFC to start calling you Abe then just say so, but stick with Anxiety otherwise it gets too confusing.

Hey Abe, even though you just ran a Magic-based game, I had no idea that you were as into it as you apparantly are.
I started playing Magic in '94 when I bought my first packs of Antiquities and Unlimited. I played "casually" a lot for a few years, but once Mirage came out, I got the competitive bug, and started playing in a ton of tournaments around the state (mostly in Grand Rapids and sometimes in Detroit). The last time I checked, I had something like a 1740 Limited, 1660 Constructed, and 1700 Composite. The last block I played was the Mirrodin Cycle. Then I got married, and my Magic days were over, at least until now. I plan on picking up some packs of the new set that's coming out in October (I think). Maybe I'll try to go to the Prerelease tourney in Seattle or something. Anyway, do you play Magic Online? Just wondering because I played that a bit in 2002-03 (I was in the free Beta too), and thought it was pretty cool. Of course, it's expensive and not as fun as live Magic, but it might be fun to play people I know from other parts of the country online. |

Occasionally I play, for drafts mostly to get cards for the rare occasion that I feel the urge to play some casual online.

I also sell articles regularly to Scrye Magazine, in case anyone cares.

Interesting articles Anxiety, I'll have to read more of them. I play a ton of Magic Online, but hardly any of the slow, fumbling, "Real card" variant, as I call it.
