I was kinda hoping they would start 5-35, to match - in a perverse way - Trammell's '84 Tigers' 35-5 start. Looks like they're too good to let that happen, though.

I've been glad about that fact for about 25 years now.

Houston's won four in a row!

I only thought it was two or three. Hopefully they've turned the corner on their crappy early season play...

What is the Tigers record now? 6-30? Not bad...

I think it's 5-24 or 5-25.

Maybe thry'll go on a 26 game win streak to match their early season losing streak .

We're up 4-0 in the third now. If we win tonight only three behind Cleveland!

Alan Trammell has a lot to learn about managing. He just pulled a "Monty Burns" - playing the percentages. Up by 2, 2 outs, 2 in scoring position, and a lefty up to bat, he brings in the lefty to pitch. Which is fine (I guess - it's kinda overrated in my book), except left-handed hitters are 7 for 14 against this guy, and righties are 1 for 14.

Make that 8 for 15. Tie game. Bad move.

Dmitri Young is a baller. 4 for 4, 2 HR, a triple, and a single, he hits one off the wall in the 9th and goes for the triple. And makes it. No cycle for him!
