You decide !

So you decide after

watching this

sappy and puts a lump in your throat or cynical - what has happened to our educational system where even after practicing for weeks a kid still can't remember the words.

(this is tongue in cheek - actually thought it was kinda cool)

But I also thought the Mexican kid that saved those kids from burning in the apartment was cool, until last night they said authorities believe he may have started the blaze. Nice.

It was a TERRIFIC display of human kindness. Hopefully he gets a job with players who have the same heart he does someday.

To be fair to the young lady, it looks to me that her mishaps were due more to nerves than not knowing the words. Even if I could sing (which I can't) I'm not sure I could get up in front of an NBA crowd and sing one of the hardest songs to sign solo.

Two thoughts:

1.) That was a truly kind gesture. Not overdone or showy, just one human being helping out another. Way to go.

2.) Based on her ability to perform under pressure, I'd suggest that girl be named the next captain of the St. Louis Blues.

that is why I said it was tongue and cheek.

I think she should have just grabbed her crotch and spat on mid-court.

That was very cool. Gutsy for him, since he can't carry a tune.

Maurice looked down the line of his players and probably thought"hmm, i better get to her and help before Ruben Patterson does"

Don't you know Ruben Patterson is on probation? That is why he couldn't retaliate against his teammate.
