I'd just like to point out that Michigan lost their opener at Oklahoma in the BBCF/FOFC multiplayer league.

If that doesn't motivate Jim to polish TCY2 up quicker, nothin' will.

So, maybe an unsticky and a new title is in order here?

Though, knowing that I'm not a fan of custom graphics and that people are still viewing this item is encouraging to me. At some point, if reviewers continue to insist that you guys can't play a game that uses the same basic interface design as the world's most useful programs - Word and Excel - I am going to have to make an honest living for a change.

Graphics are overrated. Game Engine that is realistic is what I am looking for.

My vote, FOF, please, I would think there is a a bigger market for FOF.

Any chance we can hear your decision?

I just don't understand why you can't have a useful interface that has elements of Excel, yet has a more appealing look to it. Is that such a horrible thing? I'm not asking for a Porsche, or even BMW. I'd be happy with a Saturn, because right now the interface is like Pinto with a V10 500hp Viper engine inside. It's runs unbelievably well, but it's so freaking ugly, it's a huge distraction.

What's wrong with the look? There are *features* I'd like to see tweaked in the UI (more modeless dialogs so I can keep my roster window up while setting my depth chart, a useful initial layout for all the windows so I don't have to open them all and reposition them every time I start playing a game, etc), I'm VERY happy with the current look and feel. It's functional without adding a bunch of graphical glitz that gets in the way of what I'm trying to do.

Yeah... pretty graphics = harder to play at work and get away with it.

If FOF looks like Excel, I'm cool with that.

I'm not saying that the functionality should be changed, I'm just saying make it look less.....ugly. Or at least make the font larger.

I look at Excel all day, so why in the world would I want to come home and play a game that looks the same way? I just don't understand why everyone acts as if the world would end if the game was less spartan. I don't think you have to sacrifice functionality for a more appealing UI.

Having said all that, I will always buy games that Jim makes (if he ever will again).

There is a thread that has a way to make it so you DON'T have to re-size the windows everytime. It used to be in the reference thread at the top.
