Anyone pick this up yet? It sounds really good from IGN's review.

I'm renting it this week. It does sound cool. Apparently 20 hours for that single player mode?

Really just depends.. I do like the fact you get to play through Soul in the Hole and the Rucker Park Tournaments.. those games can get really intense..

I had the first one and it was pretty good. The only problem was that it got repetitive. In order to get mucho points I ended up just doing the best tricks and that will get old after those tricks become easy for you.
I have not read about the new version but Im guesing you will get a good 15 - 25 hours of good solid play before you get tired of it. As always playing with friends can expand that time though. Id recomend a rental to see if its your style. |

Just bought it myself yesterday....Played with 4 players and the game was incredible-- most fun since Bond for N64...Single player is definitely solid, but since I got into playing multiplayer first, it was the slightest bit of a letdown...going to create my own player and all after work-- been working on the nba challenge to unlock some of the extras...So all in all, I've spent $50 on much worse before-- this one I'll enjoy

I thought I read in the review that you could turn off the gamebreakers in Vol. 2.
