So, the new rules might be:

-Initial offers to fan favorites, as required
-After that is resolved, one offer at a time to any player
-No new offers to incoming players after week 10
-RFA signed at most one per week


A subtle thing that I think I like here is that we have an incentive not to use the absolute minimum contract that a player will accept - because that might tend to draw out his acceptance, and constrict the time we have to do other things.

Sounds pretty good to me... I'm willing to support making this the rule for the coming year, which should start this morning.

I love this idea, I also like it because it is not a drastic change.. i don't think we want to be TOO reactionary..
